At this special Women's Leadership Tea, featured speaker Patricia "Pat" Wirth, former CEO and current Docent Coordinator of the Turning Point Suffragist Memorial, will share the remarkable and often untold stories fo the leaders, activists, and everyday women who transformed American democracy. Through compelling stories and historical insights, Pat will reveal the challenges faced by three generations of women who fought tirelessly to secure the right to vote and fully exercise their rights as American citizens. Their journey was marked by determination, sacrifice, disagreement, courage and an unwavering belief that change was possible.

Meet our Featured Speaker
Patricia "Pat" Depew Wirth is an internationally recognized, award-winning business leader who spent a decade in corporate America before she became an entrepreneur in the Automotive Service Industry for 30 years. She served on the board and as president of her international trade association for many years. Both she and her business were recipients of numerous environmental and business awards.
Pat was recruited to serve as the CEO of the Turning Point Suffragist Memorial Association in 2014 where she successfully directed its operations and fundraising efforts as it fufilled its mission to build our country's sole, national suffragist memorial recognizing all suffragists and telling the seven-decade story of the suffrage movement. Pat now volunteers as the memorial's Docent-Coordinator for the numerous tour groups who visit from around the country and abroad, and continues to personally conduct tours when requested. On June 17th, she and her docents hosted Governor Spanberger at the memorial located in Lorton, VA, as she signed numerous bills into law that support women.
In August 2022, Pat and her husband Jerry moved to Lake Frederick, VA, where she co-founded the League of Women Voters of the Northern Shenandoah Valley in August 2023 and currently serves as its president.
