A Call to Conscience: Advancing Dignity for Adults with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

A Call to Conscience: Advancing Dignity for Adults with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

Some of the most isolated members of our communities — adults with severe and multiple disabilities — are too often missing from the rooms where decisions about their lives get made.

On July 27, we're changing that.

SPARC and The George Washington University are bringing together U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, Congressman James Walkinshaw, Virginia State Senators Barbara Favola and Kannan Srinivasan, Fairfax County BOS Chairman Jeff McKay, leading researchers from Johns Hopkins and GW, and the families who navigate these systems every day — for one purpose:

To advance dignity for adults with severe and multiple disabilities. To name the barriers. To imagine bold reforms. To design a future that includes them.

"A Call to Conscience" is a daylong summit at the Jack Morton Auditorium in Washington, DC. Three fireside conversations. One landmark keynote.

A roomful of people who refuse to look away. Join us - sparcsolutions.org/summit.
